shelly (evil twin) crashed today

she went on the starved rock run that was going on today on the site...just got off the phone with jeff (racingxtc) and he told me that she lost it going into a turn and lost control when she hit the gravel...she has a broken collar bone from what i was told...not sure of other injuries at this point, but i will update further unless someone else has more info before i do...unknown if she is staying in the hospital overnight or whatnot...

sorry to hear that shelly and i hope ya feel better sweetheart....

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!

She was taken by medics to a nearby hospital with a broken collar bone. Her bike is rideable with broken left fairing, actually Kim is riding the bike as we speak. It was a very slow (about 20 MPH) turn when she lost it. I'm sure she'll be home tonight.

dude...seriously...u need to get a life...anytime anyone crashes, we all post up and hope for them to heal up quickly...if the mods have a problem with it, then they can kill it...she is a friend and i dont think she would have a problem with this posting...she would want everyone to know she is ok...

PLUS she is on the other bike site and they would have no clue about her getting hurt...so i know that they would want to know...so its posted there also...

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!

shelly should be home by now, she has a broken collar bone like what was said, and no other injury's. so she is all good, but will be on pain meds and maybe posting goofy.

heal up quick, we all care about you.

i was wondering if that was some of the CLSB guys behind me, BUT neither one of you pulled up to me and said hi, so at that point i didnt know who you were, and i would have slowed down so we could ride together.

but i was in a little rush to do something.

I'm sorry this happened to you.

I hope you get rested up and heal quickly.

I'm curious if the front wheel washed out in the gravel (If it was the left-hander S turn before the right; I don't remember a lot in the lane except closer to the edge of the road but I admint I also did not pay attention to the inside double yellow) or if it started to go and then you were trying to catch it by straightening up but ran out of pavement or something else altogether like a braking 'oh shit' thing or a combination of some or none of the above...?

With each unfortunate incident, it's a learning experience to be gone back over for recognition of circumstances and conditions to be applied forward.

Seriously though, hope you feel better soon.

Everyone Exaggerates

We're being taken for a ride... agaaaaaaain.....
