To All My Fellow Veterans...

I love ya guys but I'm at Fort Leonard Wood this week and the girl I work with came down here with me and our POC here is an ex-squid (Navy) and we were eating on base and picking out all the different services that were there (they have ALL the services here, including Coast Guard) and the girl I was with asked how we knew what service they were in (besides the obvious US ARMY on the uniform )

So I pointed to a guy standing in line who was standing so upright, proper, confident, and proud, cami's were sharp and crisp, everything was solid. I said THAT is a Marine. Then I looked around and saw a group of guys slouched over, leaning on one hip, "BDU's" all balled up and wrinkled and I said THAT is the Army

OORAH

and then just for Shelly

Well they are all crisp and proper because they REMF's. The pansies in the rear with the gear. This is coming from an Airborne Infantryman from the Army.

since you were airborne, I won't classify you with the rest of the Army dogs...by the way you do know what ARMY stands for right (you know the military loves their acronyms)

AIN'T READY to be a MARINE YET

Actually you old schoolers would be sickened at what I heard today on base. During boot camp they get to carry cell phones/pagers and call their parents and shit...I was like AND THEN they get their weekends off to go out in town and wear civies and shit SERIOUSLY that's day camp, not boot camp Sounds like their parents sent them away to summer camp

As far as I know it's just the army. It better not be like that in the corps

Well they must be pretty soft on the Mp's in boot camp there as I think thats where there boot camp is Fort lost in the woods. I know for a fact if you even got caught with mouthwash in basicic training in the Infantry your ass would be doing push ups till your arms fell off then runn till your legs fell of then well you get the picture.

Operating a motorcycle. So easy, even a caveman can do it. Knowing how to ride? Priceless.

not to burst your bubble but how long ago was that?

(pst, it's 2007 now)

Seriously though, you would fall over and have a heart attack if you saw this shit. There is a graduating class tomorrow so they are all over the hotels running around like a bunch of high school kids with no discipline. One of the mother's was in the elevator with me and a couple recruits and she asked one of the recruits if he was in her daughter's graduating "class" and he responds "yeah"!!! I was thinking in my head how about yes ma'am you undisciplined puke.

Michelle, less chat.... now put on some purple eye make up on the other eye and balance that redneck shiner out and bring me home some hot military men.

No marines... I want an Army boy... they are easier to rough around.

Marines are fucking crazy.

(luv you).
