Who would be interested in a CLSB trackday?

PLEASE NOTE: This wouldn't be an event that was sponsored by Ken. It would be a Blackhawk Farms Trackday for CLSB members. I talked to Ken and he is all for it, if we can put together the number of riders needed to pull it off.

Because of the lack of days for NESBA in the month of August I started thinking about the thread where Ken was guaging interest in a CLSB Trackday. The biggest issue seemed to be that Ken would be laying out a TON of money to reserve the day and needed assurances that the people that said they would be in would actually be there.

Since that never materialized I thought that what better way for CLSB to have a trackday than to have it with absolutely no liability for Ken! I contacted Mike Casey of Motovid since he runs the trackdays for Blackhawk and he was interested in doing something for us. He did want me to check into how many people would be interested in doing the day.

I know some of us haven't been on the track since the 23rd at Autobahn and some haven't ridden since the last Blackhawk day on the 15th of July, and since we are most likely looking at over a month of no local trackdays, our thoughts are that the interest in the CLSB day would be decent.

So I'm asking....WHO WOULD BE INTERESTED IN DOING A CLSB BLACKHAWK DAY IN MID-AUGUST?

Possible dates: August 16th, 20th, and 21st (Mike Casey will be checking on open dates)

Rough price: $125-$140

Because of the reduced price the money for the day would be required 7 days before the event.

Post up if your interested!!!!

Nope, PTT used to allow double jeans in N, but I'm not sure anymore. Not sure about the BHF days.

Depending on how many people you get signed up, can you just have them set aside a block of spots on one of the already scheduled dates?

16th would work. The 20 & 21st would be in conflict for anyone going to Barber or Miller on that same weekend with NESBA and STT will be at Gingerman that weekend.
