Full Moon Cafe

Can someone point me to info about Full Moon Cafe. Is it still open? If not, what venue has taken its place? Thanks for any info.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

It is the replacement for Highland House. It is a 24hr place where on the weekends all types of bikers meet up to hangout or to start rides going into WI

Sunday is a good day to just look at different bikes.

I miss the HH too. I saw bikes there that I never thought I would see outside of a magazine. The full moon doesn't hold a candle to HH. They don't get anywhere near the crowds.

If you ain't with us, then it's just bad news.

Yeah, I think when Hal's sold out to the dealership (the old dude needed to retire and I hear he is lovin Fla) most of the folks just stopped goin up that way - Shame too - That lot drew all sorts of bikes - Full Moon does okay but it does not have the tradition of HH

Here's a couple of pics from that place...usually a good turnout if the weather is nice. I dig it because you can see everything from a vintage Indian to the latest and greatest Ducati.

The 1098 grows on me with every glance - I had this talk with Vcook on Thurs Night - I hated the 999 when it came out as my love for the 916 style ran deep - Then the 999 grew on me and I fell for it - I felt the same with the 1098 but now it is starting to grow on me too - I think it is the SSSA and the old school dual under seat cans
