Code Orange!!

My ass (i'm a little tipsy so bare with me)!

Check this out. My buddy just got back from Jamaica Sunday night. When he arrived to Chicago (nto sure which airport, will find out) there was a Code Orange going on. On teh PA they stated, "If you notice any suspicious activity please report it to the nearest employee." So, my buddy's waiting for his luggage and he sees this on the conveyor belt. He immediately goes to a worker and tells him of an axe and a golf bag on eh coveyor belt. Worker says, "oh, don't worry about it." My buddy claims it went aruond at least 6 times, and nobody fond it suspicious.

Ok, back to drinking.

BTW, i hope National Security doesn't come after me for this lol.

It is perfectly legal if it's a checked in item. Hunters check in their rifles, shotguns etc. etc.
why? because there's no acces from the cabin to cargo area. In other words, you can not get that weapon in flight unless you open the main cabin and you fly down to the cargo area.

I admit I'd take a picture of an ax on the luggage belts.

Before 9/11 I use to bring back a few axes from Cambodia in my checked luggage. I even brought back axe heads as carry ons. No one ever said a word. I use to pack my carry on bag with screw drivers, files and all sorts of sharp utensils. Only once at Narrita airport was I asked to check my tools in.

As a matter of fact I do have pics. Let me dig them up. They supposedly the best hand made axes on the planet, according to the old folks. I'd buy them for $3 USD and give them out as gifts. People even asked to buy them from me for $20 each.

If a hunter checks in his rifle it has to be in a case, so how come the axe is just laying out?
