right about the 1:45 mark on the 1st vid...it sure as hell looked like he was gonna eat the wall for a bit there...

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!

I like in video 4, just after the part where you can hear their knee sliders scrape around the turn, and the last guy has to straighten up because he's leaning so far over the line he almost rubbed his back on the door handle of a passing car...

I never understood the whole "running wide" thing - Yes it is a heavy bike and you have to muscle it thru the tight stuff but it can be done - The "rotary" is a funky rear too

Did it?

All that running wide looked un-fun.

The Duke seemed to just glide through everything.

Oh wait...or are you talking about how the TLR ass-rammed the Duc at the the stop light? Yeah, then it did own the Duke.

I'm still trying to figure out mine, but it's getting there. TL's are funky thru the turns. I've learned you can't just use the bars like I was used too. You MUST move around and weight the pegs. Otherwise the pig won't turn. Even when you're not hauling ass. Even on normal ho-hum off ramps at commuter speeds. Actually, I shouldn't say you MUST, but it's 1000% more effort if you don't. Slow speed, parking lot turns, you have move to the outside of the seat too, (a la dirtbikes). The bike's handleing takes serious getting used to. But once you start to figure it out, it's fun

I'm also thinking of pulling off the stablizer, (or at least running lighter oil). Since I changed the sprockets, the front end doesn't get light anywhere near as often or as viloently as it did before

yeah! 4000 posts of BS!

Eric

That was the superchicken that took the Duc out
