missed last msf class :(

So, after a week long set of night shifts and 76 hours later, I decided to enroll in an MSF course. I was a walk in (won the lottery for that class, yay) and completed 2 of the 3 classes. However, my boss called for work (didn't even get overtime...) that night. I ride home from the location in oak park and get home around 7:50am...5 minutes past the course time and it was a good 20 minutes away! nothing like completing 2/3 of the req's just to miss the last day and test...

can I call the MSF people and ask if I can some how jump into the last day course? do I have to redo the entire 3 classes (keep in mind I'll have to be a walk in because registration is closed).

I know there are a few instructors on this board, namely my instructors Larry and Greg.

ideas?

Worth a shot if your bike is reasonably well suited to it.

I second Mopar. Go take the test. I think you get three tries.

Otherwise you would have to repeat all sections of the MSF. There are other classes this year if you wanted to try to walk in again.

Sorry to hear that happened to you.

That sucks. You will definitely have to retake all of the course. Or go to the DMV and give it a try as suggested.

Absolutely not true. You can enroll in the course if you have your M endorsement or not.

Normally if you take the test at the DMV first you must go back there to pass.

Unfortunately, if you miss the last day, you need to re-take the whole class. If you have the basics down, you could try to take the DMV test.

Ride smart... stupid hurts.

Everyone crashes. Some get back on. Some don't. Some can't...

Godspeed 788!!! We miss you!

yep gotta take the whole thing over again. sux but they're strict due to high volume of interest. i'd just go get my M like everyone else is sayin unless you're tryin to take it for insurance discount purposes. you can rent easy bikes to take the test with (i.e. 250cc standard) offa craigslist or some shiz. i hear some dealers bring out bikes to you too for the test.
