[email protected]#$ Comcast Voice

Seriously.

I had Vonage for a year and rarely had service problems, if any. Comcast sold me on switching due to the price discount I'd get on my current cable Internet/TV.

The phone service is crap, In the two weeks I've had it I've experienced tons of problems. No dialtone. Buzzing/Static on the line during. Other conversations leaking in. I had better service with Vonage which was using Comcast's network. So they can't even provide a stable system of their own!

we have no problems with it.

I have had issues in the past with comcast though, usually it takes a bit for them to get things right.

I've had good luck with their Internet/TV for the past few years, but the voice service has just been sub-par.

Very happy with my Comcast triple play. Use to have slowdowns on Internet on Sundays but that issue has been resolved.

Ask them to come down and fix your wiring. The installer will put in a signal repeater if necessary.

My installer was competent. I even tipped him $20.

Out of 5 service calls one guy actually knows how to fix it, or at least in my experience.

I can't confirm it because I'm too lazy, but that's what I heard. Mine was out from 130 to 945 pm.

Same experience here with comcast. But I am pretty sure your internet is sucking around the same time your phone is crap since the phone is based off of your internet. Comcast internet would go to crap certain times of the day and then so would my phone. People characterized it like I was talking through a fan. Very choppy. I had the triple play and scrapped it for AT&T. Never had a problem with DSL in the past but I only switched to get a deal on cable TV. Now I am back with AT&T and do phone, dish, and internet with them for cheaper then comcast!

Shoot, I just upgraded to high speed triple play. I lost SunRocket and flipped everything over. By the time the smoke clears I'm going to be into ComCast for an easy 2 bills a month. They are supposed to be installing the new boxes on Monday. I sure hope it goes smooth.

My bill barely cracks $100 and that's for 10Mb Internet, Voice, and Premium Extended TV w/ HDTV. Two hundred is crazy.

Internet and Vioce was down for the past couple hours. I RARELY had any problems with their service and ever since they wired op my neighborhood for Voice service and pushed it to everyone a few weeks ago I've had problems left and right. Argh.

THX no rush. Everything but SunRocket is working for now. I just don't know Grace's schedule and if Monday even works. If the brown stuff that Rickster is predicting hits the fan I'll shoot you a PM.

I have the AT&T package DSL/Dish/Phone.. and due to a mistake that a trainee made and a shit load of unreturned calls, I finally cornered a manager and AT&T is cutting me a check for $779.19

Basically the offered me this rebate at the time I signed the 18 month contract. She made a mistake and wasnt supposed to offer it to me based on my phone package. I called looking for it and they just said oops, so I said cancel my deal and they said they couldnt because of the contract. Well I signed that under false information and kept calling and calling until they caved in!
