Be prepared for major repair costs...my brother KNOCKED OUT A WALL while renting a house down there. They figured the two rooms just belonged together

Oh, and I had a blast every time I went down there

Absentee landlord + college student renters = disaster waiting to happen

Rental deposits will never cover the cost of damages.

Other than that, good luck.

Absentee landlord + dinky town in the middle of nowhere = meth lab at your house.
No joke.

its around $1000 for everything. All utilities and everything. One of my friends husband goes to WIU and she told me when she was up here a couple weeks ago it was just about $1,000 for everything... internet, cable, heating, AC, water, gas, electric, rent, 1 detached garage space, gym membership, etc...

I just moved down here Saturday, but I have no useful information for ya. So far the most exciting thing that has happened to me is buying a microwave at wal-mart. Isn't seeing tweaked out people at Wal-Mart a normal thing though? I'm bored as fuck down here....
