Hmmm....so what do I do if I lost the keys to my car

This is an interesting situation. Sure we all lose our keys at one point or another, but I literally can't find my keys anywhere. And my backup set I find out my sister lost a while back. So what exactly do I do here, I've never really run into a situation like this before?

This sucks. My sis drives the car more then I do and I think she's not owning up to the fact that she can't remember where she put the keys, but it is my responsbility to keep track of them I guess

Just curious... have you broke any mirros lately? Perhaps a walk under a ladder? Umbrella in the house? black cat in your path?

Sorry to hear about your tough luck!

that's what I have been doing

Rob I don't know who I pissed off lately, but I'm not doing so well on the luck scale. Then again, I shouldn't complain if you stack up my problems against Cruz's.

call the police dept and ask if there is an officer that can maybe help you with a slim jim when they have time?

if not call a lock smith.

if not..go to what ever dealership that makes the car with the VEH# and withen a 1/2 hou they can get the key code and make the key with you having the proper I.D. saying you own that car.

Thanks Ken, I may end up having to do that, I'm kinda out of options where to look. The keys aren't locked in the car, I have a spare remote opener to get in it.

Do you have the key code????? I always take those and put them in my file cabinet with all the papers for the car. If you do you can take that and get one cut. Otherwise go to a dealer with i.d. and registration and anything else you got to prove it's your car cause I think they'll be asking you alot of questions.
