Last Time I Go To Chinatown

Ok so maybe its not chinatown but still damn this is fucked up.

Quote:
Recently some restaurants in Guangdong, China, have been promoting a popular dish called “water boiled live cat”.

The way the restaurants kill the cats is very cruel and inhumane. One of the chefs even says “the more torture the cats receive, the better they taste.”

Yeah it makes me sick. They do some f'ed up stuff to cattle and pigs as well.

Why haven't we found a more humane way of killing the animal?

yea i pretty much eat everything with a soul. its messed up that i could careless how a cow or pig are slaughtered but then im repulsed by this kinda stuff with cats and dogs. hypocritical really its just easier to sympathize with those animals when you have em as pets.

i used to work at ohare on planes and one time i loaded a japan airlines cargo flight. one of the 20x20ft sheets/pallets had like 50 cages/kennels on em and inside each cage were 2 beagle puppies. destined for japan, i sincerely hope they have a beagle pet shortage over there cause when one of em licked my fingers through the cage loading it on i couldnt think otherwise.

I remember watching faces of death. Seeing some of the cruel ways they kill animals for food. People dont have respect for living things and dont appreciate it either.

You cant think of these things because it will sicken you and piss you off. Watch the animal channel with the animal cops. They arrest people for animal abuse. they show a lot of sick stuff and it makes you want to beat the shit out of these people

I used to do a lot of work in China from 2000 thru 2002. Spent about 12 months over there total in that time frame.

Nothing surprises me. Our client took us out to dinner one night to the best restaurant Suzhou had to offer. I'm thinking, cool I'm gonna finally eat a descent meal tonight. We roll into this place and it smells like a zoo. There are cages and cages of every animal (snakes, turtles, birds of all species, bunnies, etc., etc.). The deal was you went over to the cage and picked out the furry woodland creature you wanted to devour that night, they take it in back, kill it, cook it, and serve it. I'm just not that adventurous. I had another night of rice. Needless to say I was quite thin then. lol

because china is known for eating all sorts of things. They believe eating certain things will prevent illness or cure it. They were killing bears, elephants, tigers etc.... for high dollar to sell to china just for gal bladders and other parts.

Asia is known for eating all sorts of things. And in India they eat monkey brains. I know I saw it on Indian jones part II

One thing is for certain: It's a hell of a lot fresher food than what's sitting on a diaper in a styrofoam tray wrapped in plasticwrap sitting in Jewel's meat case.

I don't buy ground beef from Sam's Club anymore...they must put red dye in it because I had some in the back of our extra fridge for waaayyyy too long and it never changed color. I remember like 10 years ago when some grocery chain got busted doing stuff like bleaching their rotten meat so it wouldn't stink and they'd sell it! Ya never know what you're gonna get I guess unless you've killed it yourself first.

Most beef in the US has dye injected into it.
