Restaurants near Tweeter center?

I need restaurant recommendations that are near Tweeter center, or whatever the hell its called these days.

something causual but not too casual since it is work related. For example, Hooters is bad(this is work stuff), Wildfire is bad(too nice), but something in the middle like a Ram or Rockbottom would be good. Suggestions? Needs to be fairly close to tweeter!

Vcook,

I highly recommend TinFish. (seafood a go go)
18201 Harlem Ave
Tinley Park, IL 60477
(708) 532-0200

Otherwise, here's a good microbrewery:

Harrisons Restaurant Brewery
15845 S La Grange Rd, Orland Park - (708) 226-0100

Both are nice places.

Cheers!

Bogarts has awesome steaks, and a lengthy wait for a reservation to prove it.

I vote Tin Fish. It's like a mile from the venue entrance.

What does getting hit on by waiters have to do with the quality of the food?

And besides, maybe Vcook likes flirting with waiters. You just never know

I've been to Tin Fish three times in the past year and each meal has been awesome. The wait staff is friendly, but not overly so (then again, I eat in boystown, wicker park, bucktown and river north all the time, so maybe I'm immune to being hit on by men)

sorry i must have just had a real bad experience the one time i was there. in fact it was so bad that every time me and the friend i was with pass that place we laugh and joke about it saying "hey lets go to tin fish" lol. and getting hit on by a guy doesnt sit with me too well. id say it was a little unprofessional.

very sorry for whoring up thread. back to subject. go to tin fish if you like fish. but if you dont like fish they dont have anything else on the menu so you know.

Vcook, there's a TON of places in orland park on lagrange road.
I forgot about Petey's II at 159th and LaGrange. Good value, old school place.

Never been there, but Cooper's Hawk isn't too far, and seems really nice...

http://www.coopershawkwinery.com/

Maybe too nice for what you need.

Galway Tribes is fantastic, and very casual. About 10 minutes from the theatre, in Frankfort.

http://www.thegalwaytribes.com/

There is a Rock Bottom in Orland Park, just south of 159th street. It would probably be 20 minutes from the theatre.

I think your best bets are Galway Tribes, or Bogarts, with Bogarts being the closest @ 5 minutes up Oak Park Ave.
