The weather looks not too bad for tonight.

We've got a cold front that just passed over us and extends west to east just south of Chicagoland. Most of the storms will probably be along this front, and will hopefully stay south of us.

However, right now there are storms building around Rockford and heading this way. They don't look too organized and threatening right now, but I'll keep an eye on them. I'm working in the office until 9pm tonight, so I'll be able to watch the sh*t.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

There's a tornado warning for the northern 'burbs right now. It's a small cell that should pass through. I don't see anything behind it.

EDIT: The tornado warning has been cancelled.

There's nothing too organized out there, but I see the area to which you are referring.

I'm thinking it'll dissipate before hitting Chicagoland.
