Where I've been....

... for the last three weeks.

Mid July I went to Boston for the National Business Travelers Association's annual trade-show. It was pretty damn cool. All the airlines and hotels were there showing off their wares. There were parties with free-flowing alcohol at night and plenty to do. Boston was a cool town, but I didn't get to do much since I was busy with business stuff all night.

Orbitz sponsored the main luncheon and our speaker was Colin Powell, so I got to hear him speak. He had great anecdotes about Reagan and Gorby, Bush, Vietnam, and Iraq. Quite an amazing speaker.

In the evenings Orbitz had VIP dinners with our select big-money clients. They were treated to a dinner at the Harvard Club in DT Boston. I was asked to go to the final dinner. 38th floor with an amazing view of the city and Cambridge. Then we at an 8 course meal with a new glass of wine with each course. F*ckin' awesome food and drink.

After I got back from Boston I spent 2 days at work then went on vacation. I did a road trip in the Pcar to Albuquerque. The original purpose of the vacation was to spend a week with my family and then 4 days horseback riding and camping with a friend, retracing the Pony Express route. Well 45 minutes after arriving in Albuquerque my family and I got in such a big fight that I was told I can't stay with them.

So I ended up staying in a hotel in Moriarty, NM (look that place up on a map) and hanging out with my friend. I never heard from my family and I got tired of the hotel so I moved over to my friend's house and stayed with her and her fiance and his son for a few days. She and I spent a couple of days driving around the mountains with the top down and had a pretty good time. She's got a ranch so I helped with the horses and unloading/stacking hay bales. The horseback riding trip was cancelled and I didn't want to overstay my welcome at my friend's, so I left last Thursday and got back here on Friday, cutting my vacation a week short.

3000+ miles on the Pcar on the trip. Average speed 82mph (love the 75mph speed limits) and I got 28.3 mpg even with the AC running most of the time. It was f*cking hot in OK and TX.

I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Just kidding mang, bummer about the family fight though- you can pick friends, you can pick your nose, but you cant pick your relatives.

I brought the green speedo. My plan was to hang it on different town signs that I traveled to. Next road trip I'll do that.

Yeah, the family thing was a total bummer. It was a fight about my upcoming wedding. After I got back here my mom called and apologized. We worked things out.

Actually, I drove out there for 2 other women. Had to show the hometown folks the ride.

What Arch said. My friend is a woman. We've been close friends since 7th grade, so 19 years. She and her fiance have the weirdest story:

My friend, Beth, was best friends in high school with a girl named Terri. Terri married her high school sweetheart Tony. They had a son, Jerome who is now 10. 6 years ago on Tony's birthday Terri's heart stopped and she died instantly. Both Tony and Beth took it very hard. A year or so later they ran into each other in Mexico. Not long afterward they began dating, then Tony and Jerome moved into Beth's house. He's been there ever since, and this spring they got engaged.

I had some lesbian friends in college. They were nothing special, a 4 and a 5 but using EMR's commutative property they were a 9. Never got the chance to watch them in action though.

Weird story indeed.

I was reading that fast and saw "her and her" and assumed two girls for some reason.

Did you guys know fiancé refers to a male, and finacée refers to a female?

EMR's commutative property works well in situations like that. I'd definately watch the action.

No lesbians on this trip, though.

When I was in HS, I was at some party and walked into a room and these two chicks, who had taken a bunch of X like 30 minutes prior were stark ass naked and going at it. I watched for a while and then of course joined in. After I got done, AT LEAST six other guys got in on that action as well. I went to the doc a few weeks later to make sure I didn't contract the clap or something. Wasn't all it was cracked up to be, although the girls were probably a 7 and 9. Weren't lesbos though.

That's just wrong. I can't condone that type of behavior but I understand.
