Spanish Translation Help

Is anyone here able to translate something to Spanish for me?

I don't want to run it through a translator because I don't think they always get the verb usage right.

It would be about 100 words.

Its for a class project I am supposed to right a journal entry from a parent's point of view about effective communication and I thought I would write it and translate it to Spanish to emphasize a communication gap.
