portable GPS units for the car

I just started looking at GPS units. What are you guys running?

I want one and don't want to spend over $400.

I have a refurbed Magellan. I don't have a clue which model it is and am too lazy to check. It has auto re-route, auto dimming and a mess of other features. I got it from Buy.com last year for under $200. Works great. I see they have 3000Ts for $176 after rebate that might be worth looking into.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

Check Garmin's website. They have many models. You can call or visit their store on N. Michigan Ave. in the city and play with every model. Buy online, though.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!

True (and that's what I did), but he wants one in the car and the 550 comes with all those accessories.
