Crazy crash

So I'm riding down I36 (Boulder to Denver) when my bike decides to play up and die. I pull over to the right shoulder where there is roughly half a lane for me to stop. At this point I'm on an uphill slant, so I figure I should push the bike up to the top and attempt to pop start it downhill. It's late, and no cars notice me on the side of the road (or at least none slowed down) when suddenly theres this huge bang, I look to my left and see a convertible facing the opposite direction stopped less than 5' away from me. I stop and help the guy get the car off the road, and stay around for the cops to show up. One of the girls that was following him said the dude was tailgating some minivan, then tried to change into the left lane to overtake, but steered too far, hit the concrete barrier (which he took a huge chunk out of) and ended up facing the other direction with a bent front axle. No one else's vehicles were involved in the crash, and when I checked with the guy he didn't even notice I was on the side of the road and couldn't have contributed to the accident. If the douche had of been trying to overtake on the right it would have been me he hit, but shit, that was freaky...

P.S. Denver blows chunks.

Weren't you the one that was contemplating on riding to Denver instead of flying? How did that turn out?

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil,

'The Light at the End of the Tunnel' has been turned off.

The ride was great, did it in one stretch with no sleep. However, evidentally Denver didn't wan't me to leave. In short... nearly got killed, got a ton of parking tickets for parking where i was asked to park, got a speeding ticket, accidentally had a knife on me when going through the airport, had my bike brake down.

Yeah, rt 36 sorry. I went up through Canyon and into a bunch of side streets. There was some crazy twisties up there, I loved it.

At this point I believe it's an electrical problem. The bike isn't charging (although the multimeter says it should), battery has been replaced, and now, the FI light is coming on. Suffice to say, I left it with a mechanic there, so I need to fly back to get it.
