Some mild use of swears (possibly offensive)

Fucking prick bastards can't turn the fucking A/C on in this place. Which should have been on a long time ago! It's much better to be able to battle the possible heat than the cold...if it's cold in the office...we can put our coats on. But if it's hot and there's no A/C, then I have to get my ass up every 30 seconds to go stand in the server room to cool off. If the dickheads don't make some exception to wearing ties tomorrow (because the A/C won't be converted till Friday), then I'm going to go completely ape shit. I fucking swear that I will crap on every desk if the temperature doesn't drop in this office below 86...not to mention that since I'm the IT guy I get all of the wonderful electrical heat emitting equipment around me! SHIT!

Isn't it great that after a total shit day, you can go for a ride on your way home or after you get home. Makes going to work to pay for all the stuff we want to buy easier. Yeah, work still blows, but we got to do it if we want stuff.

Okay I sympathize with you and the temp but you also have to take into consideration that turning on AC in a high rise is not like plugging in it and say okay its on. I am a high rise engineer supervising and designing HVAC buildouts. And you also have to admit that yesterday and today are record setting days. Also if the AC system is waterside DX cooling w/ Cooling towers you can't run when temps get below or around freezing. You are talking about draining 50+ thousand gallons of water or chance damaged coils which means no ac in june till new parts arrive and installed. I do not know what system you have in the building obviously so before you take the frustration out on MGMT they probably wish the air was on too.

Trust me indian summer is the worst because i usually run interference for the builing owner and sometimes these whiny ass cry baby cube dwellers want there lunch on a silver platter!

Oh i am sorry i guess i was venting too

my office is a meat locker. you can say "i'll just a put a coat on" but you cant type with gloves on, and I've had my fingers get numb. we all get our fair share, but i hope venting made you feel better.

Ok Labdog, I'm actually compelled to stop he-bitch-slapping Vcook and do it to you (he-bitch-slapping Labdog). Temps in our office reached some record high's yesterday. So much that I moved all my crap into the server room, which is kept at 65...nice. This isn't a highrise. It's a two story building. In a high rise I would hope that the systems don't suck ass as bad as this one. There's no 50,000 gallons of anything to swap. Not a complicated thing, they're just too cheap to get it done. It's cool outside today, but I swear that the heat in the office today is from yesterday. Friday this bitch better be flipped over to AC otherwise I'm going to ram my foot up someone's ass so that they will shit my dress shoe for a week.
