I'm so gonna get flamed for this...

Yes, it's Gay. My fiancée made me get engagement photos taken with her. Didn't know that was part of the deal. Any other suprises I'm in for?? Luckily her Uncle is a Professional Photographer so it was free. Then I find out, it was all to put in the newspaper with an engagement announcement. We had to take 50+ pictures for one picture for the paper?? I could have done this myself and saved myself a bunch of gayness. If you want to see them...

This is your first marriage? Good luck with that.

No, it's not gay, it's normal.

photos look good man

just a question or rather tip. Is her uncle taking photos of the wedding? Bad move, you never want family or friends to take your pictures no matter how professional they are. They could be the #1 photographer in the world but remember still family or friend and chances are you photos will show it. What do I mean, if they drink during recpetion photos will go to crap. You want someone whose job it is to take the pictures, not talk with family, see that person who hasn't been seen in years and so on. Just a thought from someone who got married last year and been to a few weddings lately.

He did her sisters wedding and he did a good job. He is kind of quiet and doesn't really interact much with people anyway, so it's perfect for him. And he doesn't drink for medical reasons, so he does a good job. I was at her sisters wedding and saw all the pictures afterwards. I'm confident he will be fine.

No, I decided to sell the fish tank because I didn't know how I was going to move a 55 gallon saltwater fish tank to California. I figured it'd be easier to sell the fish and tank, keep the filters and equipment, and start over when I get there.

The "Richard Simmons" pose with the dog was from my HS senior pictures, my mothers idea. The funny thing is, my dog loves getting his picture taken. He'll stop what he's doing and "pose" when he sees a camera. It's hilarious.

I'm not questioning anything, I just think getting married is such a big "production." But hey, it's for the girl. At least she's letting me have my own man cake (hunting themed) at the wedding.

Best thing about this thread is the "Hoe Moe" pic

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming WOW, what a RIDE !!"
