Chicago Air Show

It's this weekend and the USAF Thunderbirds were just performing some maneuvers downtown.

It's quite a sight (and sound) to look up and see a pair of blue silhouettes screaming over the Chase Building.

Anyone going this weekend?

Will be aboard the boat with drink in hand and bikin'ed babe on lap

What a madhouse it is going to be. I live in the city and hate dealing with the suburbanites. This weekend i am doing the opposite and goin to the boonies on the Flat 4.

An F-22 just performed a four-point roll with the smoke on, right over head.

Now it's in a tight-pattern w/ an F-15 and what looks like a P-51. Kick ass.

Operating a motorcycle. So easy, even a caveman can do it. Knowing how to ride? Priceless.

Remind him air shows are great recruitment tools.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

Chills! The weather report looks beak for today; think the rain will hold off until the show ends around 4PM?

Don't think so. There's a nasty system moving in from the west. Looks about 4-5 hours out.

But like I told Ken in a PM, these storms have been breaking up over central IL lately, so there's a chance the air show could be fine.

My money is on rain, though.
