No crashes? Realy?

Well, I did it! I have not crashed for over one year. My last crash was 8/12/06 at about 8pm. It was a front wheel washout while doing a rolling burnout, almost a 1/4mi. [email protected] But, get this! The crash before that happened 8/12/05 at about 11:30pm. Went strait off a corner to prevent a highside at over 100mph, ended up lowside (the most fun crash to date).

I must be getting old and slow, cause I sure ain't any better of a rider than I was a couple years ago. Kind of makes me sad. I am kind of missing it. I am wondering what happened to the care free ripping I used to do. Live for the rush!!!

Don't get me wrong. Crashing sucks, it is terribly expensive and you might not have a bike to ride for a while. And crashing in the city is a whole lot different than the country.

Well, to wrap this up before I get flamed. I hope I don't crash the Aprilia again, but I do hope I get to crash the gixxer a few more times.

Hopefully I can get to the track next year, then I can get some good crashing practice.

Let me tell you from very recent experience. losing the front end at about 50-55mph and sliding into then under your bike after it hits the gaurdrail preventing a 50' drop is no fun no matter how old you are. especially when your knee finds the weakest part of the suit and grinds through it.

I need to get my VFR sold, and add to that my incometax return, then beg and plead the bank to loan the rest.

It is high on my list.

Sorry to hear about your off...

Although..... It strikes me funny in a way as I recall getting really flamed about
comments I made related to a picture of yours back when..... I remember
commenting about guardrails and lean angle.... not that it wasn't a nice shot.

Gotta watch those guardrails !

Yep, I did exactly what I didn't want to do. Totaled my Aprilia.

It was payback from the biker gods for not crashing all of 2007 and being smug about it.
