Anyone else double cut thier lawn???

Or am I the only crazy one? I mow the lawn one way then go back and do it again at 90 degrees from the path I just did, makes it look perfect, but my wife thinks I'm crazy

Yes, I'll either do 180 difference, or rows, then circular path.

I don't really care about perfection (my lawn is far from it) but it is fun to do the second pass at full speed on the Toro.

We have know you're crazy for years. This has nothing to do with it. Tell you what. Cut yours one way then come over and cut mine the other. I'll even ply you with the beer of your choice.

no- you're nuts dude

I hate cutting the lawn. I'm so alergic to grass I get stuffed up for the next few days every week I cut. I have to wear jeans or I'll get an allergic reaction on my frign legs. Grass bites, I need to move to vegas and have a sand yard.

go sharpen your blade if the grass looks like shit after the first pass. there shouldn't be anything that you're cutting on the 2nd pass that you didn't get the first time around.

I alternate directions by 90° at each mowing, so once a week.

Life has no instruction manual. Parts and labor can be impossible to find. Many go down the road with parts that are in need of service. A breakdown is eventual.

I do this when I'm not lazy. I also cut the front yard diagonally, so the lines are at 45* angles from the street. Makes it look really nice!

i double cut my lawn, so do all my neighbors. nothin weird bout it, its like when you get a haircut and they go through it twice to make sure its evenly cut.

I do not understand what this 'double cut' is that you speak of?

Perhaps you come to my house and do 'double cut' to show me?

I like America and learn lots from locals!

I will have nice glass of lemonade as reward for you hard work! Hokay?

**+1 on Moparboyy's 'double cut' recommendation for the ladies!
