Nokia 770 is a small internet device that you can surf the web from any Wifi site or thru a bluetooth phone. I wanted the ability to surf the web when I'm touring on the bike(s), my laptop was too much...bulky took up to much room. I didn't want a blackberry or other pda device. So the Nokia 770 fit the bill.

Damn Rick, that sounds like a fine device. I was looking for something like that since a backpack with laptop is a pain (literally).

Bring it to Strats, I'd like to see it and see what it can do!

So, does it work like a teeny laptop? Or do you need it to be connected to phone service like a phone? I have a Treo, but don't want to pay extra for the internets so I lug my laptop with me.

Works like a teeny laptop...either thru wifi hotspot or thru your bluetooth capable phone. I bought so I don't have to lug a laptop.
