nissan altima towing 3 bike trailer

I just picked up a trailer from a buddy, it's a pretty nice enclosed fiberglass trailer. Itís not huge maybe about 6x12. Has a drive up ramp as a back door and a side door. Any way in hell I can tow this using my better halfs altima. It's a 98 stickshift. It's rated at 1000 pounds. I know this is going to be more but has anyone done it? Maybe I can stick and extra oil cooler on it. I have a 98 eclipse turbo and that doesnít even have a towing capacity. I can so see the front wheels on it just spinning and the car sliding down a hill. And I just don't want to buy a truck. I like my car. I also have an old (1990 with 80,000 miles) town car that Iím sure would tow no problem but I donít trust that thing for a second.

I honestly wouldn't chance it. I used my sister's v6 explorer with a 3500 tow rating to tow 2500lbs of stuff (including trailer) and i've got some nice engine tick now

My buddy Elvis from Dallas towed his bike from there to Osage Beach Mo. last summer for the SBN meet and he only had the shittly little one from a rental place and he had one hell of a time. His car BTW is a Honda Accord.......

Good Luck

I think you should either buy a truck or sell the trailer to me

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!
