I am Stydie's Bile Duct

In case you didn't catch the Fight Club reference... don't sweat it it was an obscure part.

Anyway, much like the main character in Fight Club, I have decided that working a job I can't stand to buy things I don't need just isn't worth it. I'm capitalizing on my youth and relative lack of strings to resign from my job (handing in the letter this afternoon).

Come may 5th I'll be all packed and on my way to beautiful Austin, Texas, where I have more than a few opportunities lined up... from full-time bartending/entertainment to a few boring day jobs.

I dunno if my bike will be out of the shop by this weekend but I'd love to get one last ride in with you guys the weekend of the 3rd-4th.

It's been nice to know everyone... thanks again for all the (friendly ) advice... you guys are probably one of the reasons I'm not a grease stain on Lake Shore Drive.

Let us know where there will be an opening...there are a few things I need right now, and I already hate my job, so I might as well have a few things to show for it! Best of luck in TX, it is a great state.

Heh...

I'll make sure to stay in touch via the board... I know a lot of people are looking for other jobs right now and I will make sure to scout around for any openings as soon as I get down there. Let me get established for a few weeks... but the people we know down there are very well-connected and I should be able to rustle something up... especially if I get my super-secret job

edit: oh yeah I just handed in my resignation about 2 mins ago. Felt good.

Why is it he decides to move to Texas right after The Godfather announces he's moving here. What was it I heard about the night out when Godfather was here?

My good friend from chicago and I are making the trip down together. We have some friends down there who are hooking us up.

And I'm PISSED that I leave right when Godfather gets here. THAT pisses me off. I was looking forward to the looks on the Trixies' faces when I brought him into barleycorn again!

Stydie...

I'll be sending you a PM. I can get some contact information for headhunters down there. I may be visiting down there shortly (in the next month or so) visiting my brother.

You living on Sixth Street?

I'll also be in Chicago tomorrow catching a Cubs game. Barleycorn afterwards?

The grass is actually coarse, uncomfortable and filled with fire ants down in texas.

I'm telling you though if I have to spend one more day shivering my ass off under grey skies I'm going to kick a puppy.

I'm not ashamed to say I'm going down for the weather

Dude, you plan on sleeping ?

6th street is party central down in Austin!

I'll PM ya when I know for sure if/when I'm heading down there. My brother's in laws live in Red Rock (or some suburb like that) and my bro and sis-in-law probably wouldn't mind dropping their daughter off and partying a night downtown.
