so who can hook me up??

I want to start my own web page, where i can store pictures and videos. what i need is lots o transfer (unlimited would be good) say i want to upload videos from the track or a group ride and make it available to all here that kinda transfer. kim gave me a link to her host but i dont know if 10gb is enough for transfer especialy when some of the videos will be 20mb or more.

so who can guide me in the right direction. by the way i dont want dirt cheap but i dont want to spend a ton either. what would a good rate be for what im asking for?

Video hosting can get expensive. Best bet is find someone who has a server at work that they can give youaccess too and wont notice the transfer.

Hey wait a minute someone already did that for ya. I know cause I have a folder on the same computer. just use that.

If you really want to pay for it. go to zeonhost.com they have some of the best prices around and the owner is awesome.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

I've found a good price/performance/quality compromise with www.generalhosting.com - only 75 megs of storage tho but it's an IIS server w/front page extentions and MS databases w/ODBC. If you go w/them please use phozed.org as a referral, I get a free month.

If you don't care what OS is hosting your site, you can get a linux host for about 2 or 3$ a month. There are a TON of sites out there and some of the review sites are hosted by the provider so beware. Best bet is to start w/cnet or google....

p.s.
if your going to register a domain check out dotser.com

Try this LINK Pick a package and price and let me know,
Dont worry about transfers as the guy who watches it doesnt bust balls too much, just sends out warnings as needed.

And I will work with you until the user name and password works , cause for some reason, it worked for Tony

Let me know

Rob

That doesn't sound bad. It look like you could get rapped if you need more space though. The unlimited transfer is a huge +
