Black Friday, in or out

So who is camping out this year?

Personally I did't see anything I need that bad, I will let the nuts all fight each other and wast a tank of gas jammed up on the expressway and looking for parking.

When I used to work retail I loved this day because I made tons of commission, but now I fear getting run down by psycho pants soccer moms....no camping for me.

Yeah on Black Friday people lose their ever loving minds! Retailers aren't making it any better. I hear Kohls is opening at 4am Friday! Is it that serious? I wish I could do all of my shopping online. Because I can't be involved in the competition shopping that goes on at this time of year. Not to mention are the items even available once you punch someone's teeth out to get in the store in the department the item should be located in? They only get a handful of the items and sale out in the first 3 minutes.

There isn't anything that I can think of that I want to get. So NO I won't be camping in front of any stores. I think that's lame anyways and I hate dealing with crowds.

All the really good deals are few and far between. Add in limited quantities at the store and it is not worth the effort. Besides, the deals to be had can be gotten on line in most cases anyway.

I will be at the outlet mall in aurora at 11:00 pm...ready for their opening at midnight.

I did it last year, had a list...an agenda, and was done by 1:30am! When I left there was a line of cars down Rt88 all the way to RT59..it was ridiculous. Glad I was there early ..and yes, the bargains were worth it.

I had to work Black Friday. I didn't have to work the morning shift, but I did have to work 10 hours with mad lines. I worked as a cashier so no commission really. On top of that, it was like my 3rd week on the job.

Not too many things I would camp out for.

A night (30 min?) with Jenny McCarthy? Yes.

A new Buell 1125R? Yes.

Any consumer electronic/computer/household good that will sell for less in the 1st qtr of the next year?

No f'n way.
