What do you want for Christmas?

Now that the official Shopping Season is in full swing, what is it that folks are wanting for Christmas this year?

Come up with some great ideas that friends and family can afford.

Provide links as well if you can since I am sure that many of us have some similar tastes. Hopefully we'll get some cool ideas to pass along to our family and friends.

Here is one for my list:

http://www.pitstop.net.au/view/produ...ery/plu/18263/
MotoGP Technology : The Official Book
Price: $69.95

New bike, upgrade motor, etc, are all normal. But not usually affordable for folks to buy us.

Nothing.

I want my family to save their loot and not continue the spiral of debt that Christmas seems to stand for these days.

Wants are just wants. I have almost everything I need. The only needs I have are the kind that money can't buy.

Yeah, this is going great. Seriously, I am looking for cool gift ideas.

FWIW Mopar, you want more corner speed stop leaning the bike so far. Get OFF the bike, traction (contact patch) will allow for more corner speed.

+1. I don't allow my friends to buy me gifts for my bday, instead i invite them over and i cook for them BUT it doesn't hurt to dream either so here's my wish: an FM transmitter that will work with my damn iPhone! I've been researching it and everyone is saying that all fm transmitters that work for iPods don't really work for iPhones because of the radio interference the iPhone transmits. dammit!

If you are planning on shooting anything indoors, you'll do much better with a 2.8 lens. I just upgraded, made a HUGE difference.

Another Superduke (Race/track bike)

A DSLR camera (no clue which one, or even why I want one, but I just do)

Tires, Power Race ( That would be a much appreciated gift. So what if they only last a day or two, its the thought, right?)

Alpina wheels for the SMR. (inner tubes suck anyway)

PS3 w/ MotoGP

A Glock 34 or maybe a 20 w/ some 10mm reloading dies

some more tires, Power Race

30-something" LCD HDTV for the bedroom or office

Fully loaded 15" Macbook Pro

A bottle of JW Blue label, or any high end Scotch really.

A few more sets of tires, Power Race

XBox 360 ( all the cool kids seem to have one)

Craftsman reversible ratcheting wrench set

New impact wrench (old cheap one broke)

Some more tires, Diablo SuperCorsas (just for the sake of variety)

Attorney-at-Law: Doing my part to contribute to the downfall of western society.

I want a sugar daddy, so he can buy me a new R6 j/k

99% of my family is in Poland so they get present I don't
Besides money I try to get them something unique. I buy some things from Things Remember and engrave something on them. With friends we all agreed on buying presents just for the kids.

I'll quote what I already posted on another board in response to the question "what you would get if you had 3 digit amount to spend on toys?":

Quote:
Staying within three digits is tough: if I want something, I buy it... But still, there are always not so needed at the moment items. Something like:

- Frey Daytona RoadStar GTX or Security boots

- Fujitsu / Asus / Samsung UMPC

- Nice color laser printer

- New Escort radar detector (some POS stole mine 8500 last year)

- NICE home theater PC - quiet and good looking enough to put in the living room (got one priced out already, on the edge of 4 digits)

- File server that the HTPC will read movies / music from. I need two arrays, 2TB each.

- Volkl Allstar skis

- Actually, new ski boots. Not so happy with mine.

- New Sony Book Reader (eInk based, nice gadget)

- My iPod is old and it's dying, I will need a new one soon

- Workbench and tool box for the garage. Bench grinder and wise would be nice, too.

- Oh, yeah: hard bags for the multistrada

- How could I forget: full Termi's with ECU and airfilter. But that's deep into 4 digits .

- Digital SLR would be great

- Fiddy? Used one can be had within 3 digits.

I think that's about it for now.
Of all that, I think Sony Book Reader (new model, came out like a month ago), would be one of the best gifts.

- Stas

Thou shalt not disfigure the soul.

Brian...just Termignoni exhaust for the Sport Classic. Other than that my family is super casual about the Holidays. We do the 12 days of Christmas...and everything comes down Jan 1. We have the same attitude with all other special events. I had my brother looking for trailer for me...well he found a smokin deal, problem there was a boat and motor with it. So....instant X-mas gift for Dad...so he got it in July...we put a big bow on it...and said Merry Christmas. I would like an Xbox....but not saying a word...feeling guilty, that they would spend the money...then I would realize I have squat time to play with it...or worse realize what little precious time I have was wasted playing games

What I really need is another 40 hours a week...spare time...do the stuff I want to do...take private fencing lessons from a Russian Master...I might even make the Canadian Team for the 2012 Olympics How cool would be that?? I blew up my knees trying to make the Sarajevo Games...then broke the left leg in 27 different places....blew my window for the winter games...maybe I have one chance left

Sometimes goodbye is your second chance.
