Blur in Naperville

So some friends and I went down there last night for the first time. It turned out DJ Boddy D ws spinning, Fragma was performing and Dance Factory was there. Lets just say it was probably the best club set I've heard this year.

But... It was a complete and total sausagefest. There was one old lady (40+), a really fat cow dancing on the stage, and maybe three girls with any talent (but all with boyfriends of course.) So what the hell, awesome tunes, and nothing in sight.

Is this was Blur is always like or did thanksgiving just stop anyone from coming out?

Its in unincorporated Naperville. I'm 2 minutes from that place. Its Zero Gravity on some days and Blur (21 & up) on others. Just not sure which days. I haven't been there in over 10 years but I'm sure its just as lame now as it was back then.

Yeah, Blur on fridays, Zero Gravity the rest of the week. That really blows chunks, the spinning was freakin awesome but empty as hell.

It's where I met my wife. And two of my buddies met their ex-wives

It wasn't quite Crowbar-west, although you definitely know what you're talking about. One time my wife and I went to Mission on Friday and Crowbar on Saturday and it was the exact same Psycho Bitch set both places

Best thing goin' way out West back then. Lots of debauchery and tail. Ah those were the days.
