An interesting day at the office....

So... today was interesting.

I observed a conversation that begun with someone singing that "superman" song as they strolled through the office....

and as the so bellower sung and walked into our engineering design room, the engineers started asking "what the heck does that song mean, anyway?"

.. and I immediately just slid my chair back into my cube and pretended not to exist.

The conversation went along for the next thirty minutes among about 7 people talking about "kids these days" and "I dont even know what half those sayings mean".... and then it turned into an exploration of looking stuff up on the internet, and then followed with the discussion of "OH MY GOD, have you ever heard of this one???? A "rusty,, ,what?.... trombone???"..... "A dirty sanchez?? what the hell???"

oh man.... it was a moment of discovery that I would have rather not witnessed.

The best part was when they turned around to look at me and asked "Hey. do you know what.... "

and the sentence ended there when I said "I think we need to change the subject"

lol

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Yeah, where is Jon? I haven't seen him on the board in a bit.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

He's probably in decontamination isolation.

Yeah, that's usually where he is when we don't see him online for a while.
