If you want to go cheapo, I've bought one of these for the Honda 3 years ago. No problems.

$8 is hard to beat. I'm thinking of putting one on the Vette this winter.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

Not trying to thread crap but I got one off of ebay yesterday with free shipping.

I don't know how much shipping is at motorcycle-superstore but this one off ebay has the with free UPS ground shipping and may be a better deal.

You know this post was more a informitive post for something that will help ones that dont have one.

Seems this shipping is a issue with half the responses. Are you really that cheap where shipping is an issue?

Id rather shop at a online store then ebay cause you never know what exactly your going to get and ebay well there is alot more issues that every one is well aware.

To each is their own I guess.

So for the ones that actually found this thread useful Your welcome

Take the battery out of the bike, and bring it into the house.

I do this with all my stored items.

Dude...they are $4.98 at their Arlington Heights Store, they always have them on sale. Sale prices usually range from $4.98 to $6.98. I go to Barrington Automotive and for $3 buy what I need for a quick disconnect All 4 bikes have them and the cars too. I have done the setup for Jammin and Vivid also.

The JR charges at .75 amps and the Plus charges at 1.25 amps. If your battery is dead, the Plus will charge it quicker. I have both and I put the plus to my car as I don't drive it everyday.
