My thoughts are: they keep getting better with age. Songs seem to be getting deeper in meaning and instrumentally more mature.

I've enjoyed Jonathan Davis's voice for a long time, he has that driving rock voice

I just don't feel the drive and dynamics in Jonathan's work since Queen of the Damned. I loved his voice in that stuff.

I need to hear more of the new CD to see if I still like them.

Jonathon didn't sing a single word in the QOTD soundtrack. Quote from elsewhere:

In an interesting move, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis collaborated with composer (and former Oingo Boingo keyboardist) Richard Gibbs on 5 of the CD's 14 tracks, though Davis doesn't sing his songs. Instead, taking those duties are Static-X's Wayne Static on "Not Meant for Me," Disturbed's David Draiman on "Forsaken," Linkin Park's Chester Bennington on "System," Marilyn Manson on "Redeemer," and Orgy's Jay Gordon on "Slept So Long."

That would defiantly give him great vocal range.
