At $225 a set, I think that's only $25 off the normal price of DC3s (which include mounting and balancing if you buy them at the track. I would spend the money and get DC3s.

I can only speak in regards to the track.

If given the choice, I am running the Supercorsa (either the old SuperCorsa Pro's or the newer Diablo Supercorsa's).

True, the Diablo Corsa is a pretty good track day tire, but the Supercorsa (in all flavors) is a GREAT track day tire. I watched Marshall sliding a new set of Diablo Corsa's all over Blackhawk and I went right by him on a set of Supercorsa Pro take-offs.

But there is a big discussion we can have about slower riders not being able to get race tires up to temp. And since it is winter and we can't ride let's argue!

I'll start: Pirelli SUCKS!

You know something...you suck!

DC3s for B/I pace
Supercorsas for A pace.

Dunlops suck...especially their street tires on the track...lesson learned.

The DC3 is/was the control tire for world super sport. I suspect those guys would not have too much trouble dispatching with most of A.
That said, I really liked slicks on the 250. It may just provide enough of a margin to keep me upright, inspite of myself. I use a set of regular Diablos for a crappy but not quite rains day and have been pretty happy. Big bikes can probably spin diablos up, but that is what TC is for.
