WTF 16 yr old sis of Britany prego?!?!

Great roll model

In this photo released by OK! Magazine, actress Jamie Lynn Spears appears on the cover of ...

Tue Dec 18, 8:30 PM EST

Another Spears baby is reportedly on the way — and it's not Britney's. Jamie Lynn Spears, the 16-year-old "Zoey 101" star and sister of Britney, tells OK! magazine that she's pregnant and that the father is her longtime boyfriend, Casey Aldridge.

"It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected," she says. "I was in complete and total shock and so was he."

Spears is 12 weeks along and initially kept the news to herself when she learned of the pregnancy from an at-home test and subsequent doctor visit, she told the celebrity magazine, which hits stands in New York on Wednesday and the rest of the country by Friday.

"As soon as I found out for sure from the doctor, I took two weeks to myself where I didn't tell anybody," she says. "Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone's opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me."

Spears broke the news to her mother, Lynne, just before Thanksgiving, the magazine says.

"She was very upset because it wasn't what she expected at all," Spears says. "A week after, she had time to cope with it and became very supportive."

Lynne Spears, already grandmother to Britney's young sons, says: "I didn't believe it because Jamie Lynn's always been so conscientious. She's never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby."

She says her actress daughter, the telegenic heroine of the popular Nickelodeon series "Zoey 101," has known Aldridge for years and began dating him in high school.

Jamie Lynn plans to raise the baby in her home state of Louisiana — "so it can have a normal family life."

The third season of "Zoey 101" wraps up Jan. 4.

"I haven't spoken to (Nickelodeon) personally, but they have always been so great to me over the past years and have given me so many opportunities."

What message does she want to send to other teens about premarital sex?

"I definitely don't think it's something you should do; it's better to wait," she says. "But I can't be judgmental because it's a position I put myself in.

This is why they need to lower the age of consent. By 18, girls have already hatched 2 bastard children. Us old guys don't have a chance.

What it wrong with watching that show. I've watched several episodes with my daughter. It's not that bad. The plots usually end with an lesson to be learned. Usually focused on how to treat people with respect. Its one of the shows I actually like her to watch.

I dislike SpongeBob, Ed, Ed, and Eddie, and a few others due to their mindlessness.

Just because she is 16 and got pregnant means the show teaches terrible values?

As a parent, do you honestly watch the shows your kids watch? I watch more kids shows than anything else. I feel it helps me identify more with my kids.

I wish her luck. I hope she learned from her sisters mistakes.

Ken.

We actually watch very little TV to begin with because there really isn't much worth watching. Instead, we are involved throughout the community in various programs and activities from Dance and the various productions volunteering to make happen, scouts (as well as us being in leadership positions), sports (and coaching) and volunteering at Naper Settlement. Oh, and heaven forbid the kids read a lot or put together and produce funny films instead of vegging in front of the television being fed BS.

Arch, I'm basically only refering to the idle entertainment time.

I agree with you, I'd much rather have them involved in other activities. Kids and adults both need un-wind time.

Who knows, maybe Jamie Lynn is going to be a good mother after seeing everything that has been happening to Britney. She can turn this around and make it a good thing and help Britney turn her life around. As much as I love watching the train wreck that Britney has become, her kids don't deserve to be going through this and I hope she gets help. This is probably the best thing that can happen to the Spears family...

16 years old is kinda old to be getting pregnant. Jamie Lynn is so behind on times... sheesh!
