2007 Chicago Sports Teams-WTF?

Is it me or has this been a brutal year for Chicago sports teams. All of them?

White Sox
Cubs
Bears
Bulls
Blackhawks

Chicago sports teams are reverting back to pre Bulls Dynasty days. Where Oprah used to do the intro (video taped) at the Sears Tower before you get to go up stating that Chicago is known for it's losing sports teams (am I the only one who remembers her saying that).

But seriously what happened in 2007 to Chicago sports teams?

But they've lost something like 6 0f 8, and just traded Vandermeer

It pays to live in Boston right now.

All of my 30 years... It isn't anything new... But we are starting to digress... Yeah the Blackhawks may have a good team but they have lost the last 6 of their 7 games played. The Bears made it to the Superbowl last year and didn't even make it to the playoffs this year. The White Sox had a pretty bad season. The Cubs well going to the playoffs is as good as winning the World Series (to Cubs fans ) I had to do it. The Bulls are playing poorly! It's been a terrible year for all of Chicago sports teams. Not to take anything away from the Cubs or Bears they all have gotten close... But not quite!

Yaw! I was hoping the Fire would have went all the way after beating LA... But like I said um yeah 2007 hasn't been so kind to our sports team. Hey the Bulls won tonight, let's hope they turn their season around...

This is what gets me.

First let me say The Sox will suck in 08 so I am not going to get in a war about this.

That is not good enough the goal is to win the World Series anything else is not good enough. That is the biggest thing that pisses me off about Cub fans.

Like I said I am not Alero and am not starting shit but do not be happy till they win.

It isn't that bad a year for Chicago sports, the Bears were in the Superbowl in February, the Bulls went deeper into the playoffs then they have since Jordan was playing, the fire was in the conference championships, the cubs in the playoffs, and the Blackhawks are back!

Now, 2008 is going to be bad, but at least we don't have San Fransisco teams. The Giants suck, the niners suck, the warriors are average, and they don't even have an nhl hockey team, but if they did I'm sure it would suck.

No, its not good enough, but it's a step in the right direction and it's no reason to hang your head.

Did the Cubs put up an amazing fight and made for really exciting baseball? Yes. Did the Cubs give us something to cheer for and root for for months? Yes. Whats better, being in the thick of things all year or being out of the race by the all star break?

Why this confuses sox fans I will never understand
