My Final Flash Project

OK guys...here is my final project for school. This was a Flash Multimedia course and I knew nothing when I started.

I had to make a Flash video for a website so this one was made for http://www.bbkmotorsport.com/ (hypothetically). It would obviously be a lot more professional if it was for an actual live site.

My Final Flash Project

So whatcha think???

These are some of the things I learned and what I had to use for the project. I got 70/74 points!!! I got points taken off for the pre-loader (which I removed) it was forever long...so I need to learn how to make that shorter and load faster...and also some text moved a bit to fast.

Drawing and painting
Formatted text
Dynamic and/or Input text
Symbols and instances
Shape tween
Motion tween
Movie clips
Sound
ActionScript to stop and replay movie
Preloader scene
Application of design principles

But I got an A in the class and just signed up for Flash II for next semester!!

Flash is a hard program to learn. and I think you did a GREAT job with the text and especially in the middle section where you loaded 'actual text' that can be selected (as opposed to graphical text).

Now, you can say "tweening" in public and not be embarrassed. Nice work!

Tell me about it...I'm pretty good at teaching myself...there are some awesome books out there. But I just couldn't teach myself Flash...a bit too hard...I need the "visual" part of the class.

Thanks!!!
