Mao is Legend Boobie Trap, Will it work?

I have some creature living in my basement. It keeps chewing up some shit and throwing things over. It's not a mouse. It might be a rat but this thing is big. It picked up a 2lb tire thingy and knocked it to the floor. I am thinking possum maybe cat or a chupacabra. So I rigged this trap. Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

The trap works, I tested on myself.

Where's the fun in that? I watched enough SurvivorMan and Man Vs. Wild to rig a trap.

A larger rat trap works wonders or multiple larger glue boards.

The glue boards are funny as hell to watch them deal with life with 3-4 stuck to them. Grab a 6 pack and invite friends over too.

If I catch something, you have to buy me a lap dance from a Manheim whore of my choosing. And if I could see this creature, it would already be dead.

Bait is small on purpose. This forces the creature to tug on the rope, springing the trap. Bigger bait means he can nibble on it and not be in the lasso.

You focking boy scouts. I have been getting requests for a video so I will show you how when the batteries are charged up.

Basically it's a lasso tied to a chair. The chair is delicately balanced on the beer fridge using my ninja balancing skills. Creature has to enter the lasso to reach the bait. One small tug on the bait, causes the chair to lose balance and fall. Thus tightening the lasso and anything in it.

Please explain. It's a simple lasso trap. Nothing to catch on fire, no explosions, no sharp objects. Just some rope and a chair.

Bite your tongue! It works. I just need the creature to tug at the bait.

Dave tell your wife she can blow me. Bad choice of words.

For you non-believers. As a bonus the chair will hit the creature in the head.

Congrats! You can trap a stationary doll.

Did you go out and buy that doll specifically for this demonstration or is this the one you normally sleep with?
