Pho

Pho: pronounced 'fuh', rhymes with 'duh' and sounds like "fuck" minus the "ck")

Anybody know where I can get some in the suburbs without having to go all the way out to the city to get some? I know of one place that sells it in the burbs (Diho in Westmont) but that's it and I want to know of any other places that have it. By the way, Pho is a great remedy for hangovers.

For those of you who don't know what 'Pho' is, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pho.

Those zipper heads need to venture out to the burbs and put up a Pho restaurant. I hate having to go to the city.

It's not the same as fresh and yes you will have to add the meat and vegies. Add enough meat and it's almost like restaurant pho. If I have any in the cub bard, I'll bring you a pack or two to try.

When I lived in LA, in Little Saigon, there's like a 2 Pho restaurants on every block! Do they really serve Pho at Diho? I always get congee and the breadsticks. Anyways, I'd like to know if there's Pho king in the burbs too.

Yeah, there are Pho restaurants everywhere in LA. When I was there on vacay, that was all we ate. Well that and 'In and Out Burger'. But yeah, Diho serves Pho.

I'm down. Let's make it a group outing. It will be an awesome meet up place especially when it gets warm enought to ride because G Heights is kind of smack dab in the middle of everything.

I used to go to that place a lot before I discoverd Pho Ha... Asian noodle house is dirty and not even on the same level as Pho Ha. If you are a true pho connoisseur then you know that the flavor of the soup is the most important factor. The soup at Asian Noodle tastes like dirt and the veggies are not fresh at all.

I'll go with yah! I hope you have an adventurous tongue because pho is an acquired taste... I hated it the first few times I tried it but had no choice because everyone else I was with insisted upon it. Then one day when I was really hungover I tried it again and it cured me like some sorta ancient chinese herbal secret and I was hooked. If you like clear broth soups you'll probably like pho and the place close to you has a huge international following besides their normal Viet customer base.
