I think this has been in my truck since it was released. I've yet to tire of it, and I pass it along to almost everyone who doesn't have a copy.

when this album came out it was the reason i actually started listening to M and it made me start getting into everything they ever made. very awesome time in my life discovering all this good music at once. anyone that calls that album a sell out can get bent...it was some damn good music.

Funny, i've never heard of Outfield or The Randy Rogers Band.

Bestest album, EVAR. Seriously, i can let this play without skipping a single track.

+1 great album. Now I'm not taking anything away from the earlier albums because I love them and they had the best singles, but I think this was the most solid album they put out. I didn't like the albums that followed this one. Best single ever: Metallica - One

The outfield has been around forever. I'm sure you've heard them. RRB is not too big up there, it's sort of a TX thing. They play at Joe's from time to time, though.

agreed. if you think black is their best album then you probably discovered them at that album. If you were a fan prior to that album it's easy to see that their earlier albums were far superior. I'm getting bent at my desk right now because it's easy to see metallica turning the corner with the black album.

actually i did discover them at the black album. and from then on i think ive listened to every one of their songs 500+ times. i used to listen to this shit all day every day. i dont care if the musics different. its all good music. i even like songs off load and reload. no not every song is good like the older albums...but theres still good shit. yes its different than the old stuff. dont mean its not good. you cant expect these guys to produce music in their 40's like they did when they were in their 20's. hell ive had the s&m cd in my player for about the past week.

Kill Em All still makes it in regular rotation in my truck too. Whiplash, Seek & Destroy, Motorbreath, Hit The Lights are all A+ tunes
