Pilot Powers Rule, even in the snow!

If I ride, I get to park right in front of the law building. If I drive, I have to park a 10 min walk away. I was running late, so I had to take the bike.

The SV belongs to a girl who rides rain, shine, snow, ice, whatever. I'm not sure she even owns a car. Hardcore!

Same situation at SIU with parking at the Engineering Building. I would ride everyday as long as snow wasn't on the street. I got caught riding back from class in a couple snow storms though.

But SIU weather is also night and day compared to the city. At least I have noticed that with living here in Macomb and it's still farther north than Carbondale.

City? He's in Bloomington.

I actually thought it was worse at SIU when it snowed due to the lack of salt trucks and plows and the fact that most people there can't drive for shit in the snow.

Go hoosiers!

They don't have many trucks here either, and they use some weird mixture of salt and sand. Not only do people not know how to drive in the snow, a much larger portion are 18-19 year old undergrads with very little driving experience to begin with.

They used that same stuff down in Carbondale. I swear it didn't do anything. The only plow I ever saw was one of those 6 wheeled golf carts with a plow attached to the front

I yanked those sliPirellis after the track day, the sides were totally bald, no tread left.

Dude. Powers rule. I would've preferred Pilot Power 2CTs over those Diablo Supercorsas, no joke.
