Elrond...no you nerds, I do not know that off the top of my head, IMDB ftw

what I'm wondering though is there anyone else who was in 2 HUGE trilogies? I've been wondering about it for awhile and can't think of anyone. Excluding the emporer in Star Wars I-VI, those don't count as 2 different trilogies.

Seriously? Damn, I didn't know that's who played V. You'd think they could go cheap and put anyone in that role. Interesting.

I didn't know for a while either. But once you know and see it again, it's really obvious at some parts.

This depends on your definition of huge. What defines huge?

Michael J Fox was in all three of the 'Back to the future' and he also played a voice in all three 'Stuart Little'

Eddie Murphy was in all four of the Beverly Hills cop series, plus he was in all four of the Shrek series (due for release 2010).

Vin Diesel was in the two of the fast and furious series (soon to be three) and also in all of the Chronicles of Riddick trilogy.

Yup, but Hugo Weaving was barely worth a mention in LOTR IMHO.

The point is theres quite a few actors which have been in multiple big budget trilogies.

Oh, and Matrix 2 only sucked if you aren't intelligent enough to understand it

I agree, some people did not appreciate the second matrix enough, they wanted a movie instead of understanding that the matrix trilogy was actually a book, introduction, body, conclusion.

But hugo had a bigger part in LOTR than diesel in FF3 (not ff2)
he pulls up, "whats up" cut, print, gay.

hugo atleast was doing his usual bad ass acting and made a freaking sword.

The Chronicles of Riddick

Dark Fury was an animated movie, but still had Vin Diesel as the voice for Riddick.

WHAT? I thought 2 was the best one. Each one served it's purpose in the trilogy but the action in Matrix 2 was incomparable(couldn't think of a better word).

I agree actually, Matrix 2 and 3 both blew ass, especially when compared to the first one. It just fell flat.

Matrix 3 was simply too short, it needed to be a four hour movie minimum. Hell, it could have been split into 4 and 5.

Matrix 2 was awesome on a completely different level to 1, the two are incomparable as they both cater to different objectives. 1 catered to those who wanted awesome action and a little bit of a head trip, 2 catered to those who wanted mental stimulation (which most people didn't understand due to their monkey sized brains) with some action to boot.
