Need a value-priced textile jacket

I hate to use the word cheap unless Im talking zooks....
It got a little chilly last night rying to keep up with Chris wearing just a long sleeve t-shirt and Phoenix jacket.

Anyone have any advice on a decent warm to cold weather jacket that is semi-waterproof and offers good protection?

I'm looking at the JoeRocket Meteor so far....anyone know of any good deals going on?

Thanks all...

air vented sippers in front and rear, and soft back armo pad.

the thing has tooken some HELL of abuse and it ask for more.

they oven got other stlyes of color in it other then all black...all you guys have seen this jacket. had it for years already.
even was stabbing in the arm..and the armor protected me and was repaired and cant even see the lil knife hole!

I don't want leather...something waterproof. Where the heck is the alley? You think they have something textile? Isn't your jacket made by Firstgear? Whatcha think of this jacket as far as styling goes (I don't wanna hear any Honda cracks)

I did see those when they came out and it is a possibility, but don't think it will offer much colder weather protection.

The Alley?? Isn't that a gay leather shop in boyztown? I think they have pink studded hotpants too Kruz. Thats what most Honda riders wear.

I have a meteor 3.0 jacket. I love it. You can remove the liner and open all the vents and it is great for warm days, or leave everything closed and the liner in and it will work on the coldest days. It holds up well in a crash (unfortunately I have tested it).

Firstgear Ergo Tech LEATHER jacket from newenough.com I think 179. I wear it when it's as hot as 80 and as cold as 30. Sorry I'm just terrible at the linky thingy, besides I'm still looking for my hipwaders.

The Honda jacket styling is actually good enough to wear off the bike.(except it says Honda)
