Good Luggage?

I need a good luggage store in the NW suburbs. Anyone know of a good place?

They make nice stuff, not a store you can go to, but my recommendation.

That's a good place, you are right. I forgot about it.
I actually need something today for a flight tomorrow. I snapped my damn handles on my good carry-on. I might just go to Irv's. They seem to have a good selection.

Thanks all. I ended up heading to Irv's since it was on my way today. I am a big Tumi fan, but needed something more substantial for my travels this year. I ended getting Briggs & Riley. They have a life time warranty on all their stuff and it's VERY light weight.

Typically I have been a Travel Pro and Tumi guy. I needed to jump tot he next level of baseline luggage this year due to the miles. I got a Tumi wallet though!

What the hell good is luggage that's always either being stored, fixed, or needing to stay safely out of the rain?

I never spend money on "good" luggage. It all gets wrecked by the baggage handlers. I have better luck with a 75 dollar bag than a 250 dollar bag. I think if the guys see a brand name on it they destroy it on purpose. I had a Polo bag I spent way too much money on and it looked like they ran over it with a plane.

yes and yes. Luggage is not worth wasting money on. It's hit or miss, whether it's expensive luggage or not, how long it'll last!!! May as well get the cheaper stuff and not worry about it when it breaks!!!
