I'd like to say thanks

Bud and I did our official shopping trip for the troops today. Dave13 came along as well and we had all sorts of Ducati conversations. Thanks for buying lunch Dave, we appreciate it.

Now back to the real reason for this thread, we collected 650 dollars towards games and accessories for the Nintendo Wii that Bug so graciously provided. We took over the gamestop in bolingbrook (yes Bug was in bolingbrook ) and bought just about everything they had worth having. Needless to day we came up with a nice haul for the guys in Iraq and I'm sure they are gonna go nuts when they open up this box.

Thanks go out to Bug and all those who contributed to this effort, it means a lot to me and to the guys overseas.

p.s. I also went through the pile on my coffee table and took all of my curent motorcycle, guns and photography magazines and threw them in the box as well along with some CLSB stickers and an extra CLSB shirt.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

I'm glad it all worked out. I just hope it gets there, as wingnutsgixer scared me a bit about trying to ship stuff to them. It should be okay as long as they don't see us pulling a reverse American Gangster off .

Seeing Bug in Bolingbrook was like spotting Martha Stewart in a Hooters. Ed ordering a bloody mary and a coffee was not to be missed. Then when the waiter asked what kind of vodka, Bug responded "house", never looked at him, and waved his hand at him like he was dismissed. Awesome

And now I want an iphone too.

I always laugh when they try and upsell you on a Bloody Mary - Ain't no way I should taste the Vokda

I did appreciate the band aid that the "Manager" brought over

When you asked for a band-aid, the guy looked at you like you asked for a needle to shoot up with.

I was not trying to scare and kill the awesome idea, I just hope that some jackass doesn't look at it and go wow I could really use this stuff at home and then it never makes it to the boys.

Hey here's an idea since Tony, Bug and Dave all know what everything was, I say we wait 4-6 weeks (that should be about the ammount of time it takes) and if we don't get a resounding woo-hoo from the guys over seas we call one of those news stories and make a big deal out it and get some positive PR for CLSB at the same time.
