Lost About $7K Today.....

.........in commission dollars due to "Internal Politics" and our Boston Rep being a bit of a choad - Alas, I took the high road and played the "Company Man" card (as if I really had a choice, it was done) to keep the peace as it is a War made up of many battles - I help my anger in and did not mutter a word - Came home and put this on - All I can say now is, "ahhhh, thats better" - Tomorrow is another day

Nothin I can do about it now - I just smiled and said, "there's always next time I guess, well, I should get back to work as my check just got a little smaller than I had anticipated" - My boss and one of the owners were both shocked at my calmness - They took me to lunch and all I asked was to not discuss it anymore - Then I ordered a Filet

That sucks, just remember what is best in life. This works for office BS too.

BTW, I potentially lost a whole lot more over a multi year period today. A deal I was putting together for almost a year that would cost one of my agents nothing but earn me $40-100k a year is now going down the toilet as there isn't a whole lot in it for him and he will need to contact his clients to move to my broker dealer. I should mention that I've helped this boy earn millions and have known him since he got in the business almost 20 years ago. Not happy right now...

Nothin they can do about it - I am pretty much 100% commission just sans the 1099 - they merely provide me with a place to call work

Ahh commission snakes. Fuck the high road. Mel Gibson used to know how to get his money back. You should take notes from him (not on the crazy anti-semite stuff... but on the shooting people and blowing up Chicago apartments and banging ex-hookers stuff)

Commissions are great. Eat what you kill and all that. I've been living that way for 27+ years. It just sucks if you work for a corp and they play games with your $$$. Start your own firm and go into competition.

It sucks but as mentioned, it is one battle in a War - In what I do, the marathon is more important than the sprint - The world is round my friends and there will be many more chances for me here

- That was the first thing that went thru my tiny little brain - Not all $7K was going to Cickle Due Fund though - Still have some bills that need to come first

Been listening to this guy all night though so there is an upside I guess
