that made my balls tingle.

i wish i was born in a place with mountains. flying around chicago is nice but you dont stay by the city, most practice spaces and routes are just over farmland

plus no sweet as airports like that

My brother is one of the most amazing pilots I know...I trust him more than anyone...and even if he were flying that Baron it would be a big HELLLLL NOOOOOO!!!! That scares me just watching it!

Interesting that its actually on a rolling hill. They should have leveled it. The approach into Vail (I think it's Vail) is in the bowl of a few mountains.

The other then the changing elevation, Meigs field was a challenge. You never want to come in short or run long. It's not so bad in a small plane. But in a bigger plane. You get one chance.

If you go to the Museum of Science and Industry, watch the video of them landing the airliner at Meigs. That guy really had one shot! He used all but about 2 ft of runway.
