Meh, you're paying for the name.

Rolex Stainless Steel Daytona is a real racing watch, good luck finding one though.

I disagree. But I think I am just trying to contaminate every thread with a Breitling picture.

You don't think the Daytona is a racing watch?

You don't like the Daytona?

or

You think Breitling has a richer racing heritage than Rolex?

I'm confused how any one of these thoughts could have crossed your mind...

No personally I don't like Rolex at all. Obviously Rolex has a much longer history in racing cars then Breitling does. No I don't think it is a racing watch, looks like a warmed over Fossil, I just don't find the Rolex to be an actual wrist tool, it is more of a watch to flaunt and not actually perform any meaningful use.

Breitling Bentley Motors T
about $6k if you go to a decent dealer.

Are we talking nautical racing, road racing, aeronautical racing or what?

I'll grant you that the Daytona doesn't have a slide rule which makes keeping track of things a bit more difficult, but in terms of quality of movement, you will not find anything better than a Daytona's movement for less than $50k.

This is a Daytona with a meteorite face, tell me this isn't one of the prettiest and most unique timepieces you've ever seen:

Kinda cool. But I'm not an expensive watch kind of guy... And those are probably reasonable.
