Credit card outage

WTF!! anyone trird using a credit or debit card in the last half hour? none of mine work! after trying to get through to them for 20 minutes i finnaly got through to wamu. all they would tell me is that they have techs working on it. Although my other banks are down as well, wtf is going on?

Both mine are mastercard. must have been the issue. Embarasing as hell though when you cant afford to buy a plate of nacho's. I was like "how much for just one Nacho?"

This won't work. I worked for Storagetek that took care of the storage for one of the major credit reporting agencies. These guys are insane about backups. Multiple off site locations for storage, if you were lucky, you could get rid of one day's worth of transactions .

I would put a alert on with your bureau if you don't get a satisfying reson soon. thats nothing to mess with. I'm in finance and handle accounts all day. Just be cautious about that stuff man. just the fact that all that happened more or less at once. you know

wonder if india, china, and most of the middle east losing connectivity might have something to do with our financial systems stability

banks have outsourced just about everything to india
..... i know it shouldnt have a direct effect.. but it could...
the trading apps at bofa i know were having some issues when it happened.
