For those interested........ (info about me)

Well, a few of you know me and have had the chance to ride with me and most of you know me as "robo74" or Rob on this board. In Jan 03 I purchased a 98 900RR because that was the bike I wanted after last summer spending many rides on Pauls 929. Well, 2000 miles later, I got this funny feeling that I was having fun with this sportbike but I just wasnt 100% happy. And after great thought, I put the 900RR for sale and it was sold in less then 2 weeks. So to continue my search of being happy on 2 wheels, I went out and purchased a Honda Shadow, something I have had in the past and enjoyed other then my previous one having a smaller engine.
I picked out this 93 because of its shape and for the fact that I like the older shadows more then the newer models. Great shape, low miles, and the price was right.

I have had her about a week and enjoy it very much, except for a few things I have ordered and am waiting to take delivery of. I still plan to come to this board often, and meet up at Strats whenever the weather is stable. Plus I know some of you have cruisers and perhaps we can do some group rides this summer as well. One thing I cant do is keep up in the twisties, but I sure can come out and have fun.

Sweet looking bike! Can't wait to see it at Strats!

Remember it's still a 2 wheel thing!

If i could afford it i would have a HD Duece! (and a sportbike) but thats just me. I fell in love with the Duece at the MC show and funnything is i Seriously dislike most Harleys. Not the image mind you just the look of most of em.

Congrats and hope to see ya out!

don't worry.....i can't keep up in the twisties with a sportbike

and like it was mentioned before, it doesn't matter what you ride. CLSB is pretty open to letting anyone ride with them as long as they abide by the rules and are cool!
see you at strats!

LOL, you sound like me. I was giving the wife shit the other day about how my toy collection is almost complete, all I have left to get is a custom chopper , A yamaha roadstar warror, A 40' bayliner, whit a 38' fountain docked next to it, an F-350 lariet to tow it all with, a 6x12 trailer, a camper and a house on a lake in Wisc.

Then she gave me that shut the fuck up and stop dreaming look

thanks all... lol

This isnt my first shadow, but it is my first 1100. It is actually pretty quick for a cruiser.

Now I just have to wait until the drag bars get here as well as a couple small things I ordered....

and yes Vcook.... I did make some money on that RR

LOL... The Low Rider is actually the "precursor" to the FXD series (originally made in the late '70's)... The Deuce is part of the Softail family... with their horizontally-mounted shock absorbers.
