Sweet! which bike you puttin it on?

What if I told you insane was working fifty hours a week in some office for fifty years at the end of which they tell you to piss off; ending up in some retirement village hoping to die before suffering the indignity of trying to make it to the toilet on time? Wouldn't you consider that to be insane?

I must say you are doing quite well in the "He who dies with the most toys wins department".

You could buy half of a SV for how much that exhaust cost. Or you could buy 4 sets of race tires. Or you could preregister for 3 CCS weekends. Or you could pound 4 hookers at one time in Vegas.

Thanks Steve. I asked a month ago about that, knowing this day would come. I had a recommendation for someone down south a bit - forgot name at the moment, but was recommended by JRock and others. I definitely will want it tuned. For now I am going to download the standard map for the PCIII since all I am changing right now is the exhaust. I plan on changing the air filter later and will then get the tuning done. Beyond the sliders, lights, seat, paint, and rear hugger, there won't be any other mods to the bike.

Valley Racing. His name is Brian Conely. Arguably the best tuner in the midwest. Many many fast racers take their machines to him. A lot of racers take their machines to him secretly actually. Shhhhhhhhh Brian. Don't tell anyone in the paddock you are tuning my bike.

That's it. Thanks. Gona break it in a bit and then take it in for a tune. I am looking forward to getting that thing humming. I don't really know why I am picking that bike to do the most with, but I knew right away that was the bike that I wanted to mod - but not overkill.

Agreed there. The chance of me hitting the limits of ANY of my bikes stock is unlikely. I think I am doing it mainly as a hobby - something to do. I am doing smaller mods on all the bikes other than the RC51, all of which I am going to try to do on my own and with other folks assisting here and there.

I don't need it today, but I will soon. Oh yes, soon I will. I need to get the mounts in for the Vstrom and VFR so I can bounce it between the two. I may play hooky tomorrow and do the installs.

Will do. At the moment it's in storage at Des Plaines Honda. I was going to have it delivered end of March but I MIGHT get it earlier to get the exhaust and PC3 on it now. Not sure what I want to do. I also want to get the Ohlins put on the VFR which is probably just as tough as the exhaust on the 1000RR. My goal is to get all mods done by April 1... We'll see. I really don't want to work on anything come riding season - other than RIDING.
